This web site is dedicated to the services Bohemia Interactive Studio offers to professional clientele. Over time, we have built multiple stages and acquired unique technologies to speed up our in-house projects' development. These are available for renting / licensing, too. Feel free to browse our dictionary of available services or visit the solutions section to see how we help our typical clients. And last, but not least, enjoy the galleries.
Looking forward to hearing from You!
We are extremely pleased to announce that there is a second motion capture setup available in our studio thanks to our most valued partner Optitrack. The Arena Expression Foundation setup is specifically suited for facial motion capture and exports to various animation systems used to process facial MC data, including Softimage|FaceRobot suite, DAZ studio and also to Autodesk MotionBuilder (custom enhanced with Optitrack's own plug-ins).

Our studio was equipped with 9 cameras with red light strobe rings and 6 cameras with IR rings. We decided to upgrade the setup so that the IR cameras are now switchable to red light strobes. Red light strobes are better for general motion capturing, IR light is better for facial mocap.
This improves the data quality of general mocap takes as all the cameras can be equipped with red light strobes. Camera's CCDs are more sensitive to this color of light, also the cameras aren't so sensitive to any heat sources in the scene - they generally "see farther".
For facial mocap, IR light is essential as red light reflects off the skin and the reflection is almost as strong as the marker's, which makes it very hard to record any reasonable data, on the other hand.
Bohemia Interactive's technology and operators significantly helped during shooting and processing of independent feature film Pametnice.
Our RED One camera was used to record all the footage of the movie, the data was processed using our custom developed processing pipeline, conformed and color graded in our studio. Resulting Cineon sequences were finally retouched in Universal Production Partners' digital cinema under our supervision and transferred to negative on their ARRI recorder. Final processing was done in Barrandov film labs.
